A city of castles, rivers and bridges. Prague is a city of magical energy.

If you are looking for a city that is thumping with energy, serves dumplings to die for, provides plenty of architecture, history and scenic eye candy, Prague is your place!

We took a gamble on a barely finished Airbnb and won.  We were in a great location that was quiet and calm, but located 5 minutes from the famous Old Town Square and right next to a very popular street that housed the best restaurants, wine bars and beer pubs in the city.  There were plenty of hip, young adults to observe. We chose NOT to join in their revelry each night, but instead, indulge early and get some shut eye.

Sadly, we were only here a couple of days and definitely could have used a few more to see all the sites. Prague lived up to its’ reputation of being a must see tourist destination.  There was daily chaos, lots of long lines and a thriving night time party scene. Great entertainment! There were countless wedding parties seeking the perfect photograph at any one of the many spectacular photo settings. The Astronomical Clock Tower, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle to name a few.  Unfortunately, we missed the tour of St. Virus Cathedral. If you are coming to Prague, get up early, beat the crowd and avoid the 3 hour waiting time.  We needed another day, for sure.  Locals drink beer like it is water….the beer is very good and very cheap.  A MUST do city.

We can Czech this one off our list!
